More Details: Selling my Datsun 260z project. Main car is a blue 1974 Datsun 260z. Car is lowered on Eibach performance springs and also has front and rear strut tower braces. Has the factory L26 inline 6 engine with the manual transmission mounted to it. Motor was just rebuilt less than 100 miles ago by the previous owner. He never could get the “junk” flat top carbs tuned on it to keep it running so he sold it to me. I have replaced those carbs with the much more simple and more popular round top carbs, but I do not have the throttle linkage setup to make them work. You can buy these online or make one out of an old linkage I have for the car. It wouldn’t take more than a couple hours to have this car on the road and driving.
Car is complete with a newly rebuilt motor. Only thing it needs to run is: throttle linkage hooked up, brakes need bled (they are all brand new, just never had a 2nd set of hands around to bleed them.)
And clutch slave cylinder needs bled as it needed to be replaced as well.
2nd car is a maroon 1974 260z that is for parts only. It doesn’t have a title. Car has excellent body panels. (hood, fenders, doors, quarter panels.) This car is completely stripped on the interior as it was my first Datsun and I started prepping it for a full rebuild. The car was in a garage for several years before I got it and squirrels had filled the interior with acorns which caused the floors to completely rust out. other than the floors, the body of this car is in amazing shape.
I decided to sell the two cars together because if you combine the two, you would have a very clean, reliable Datsun.
Please, no lowball offers. I have a lot of time and money invested in these cars and don’t have to sell them right away, however, I have two other projects that I would rather be putting my time/effort into so I’ve decided to part with these cars.
I am asking $2000 or best offer for the two cars. I WILL accept trades but keep the values close to the same as what I am asking. I’m looking for a nice fourwheeler or dirt bike, reliable car/truck that gets good gas mileage, or a LS1/T56 setup.
