Up for sale is a 1974 Datsun 260z. My friend and I bought it as a project, but on realizing that the motor and transmission were not what we wanted, decided to find something else.
It is equipped with an L28 from a 280z along with the sought after close-ratio 5 speed transmission. Motor turns over and transmission goes into every gear.
Missing a distributor, starter, and carburetors.
Has A/C compressor, but the hoses are cut and not sure if everything is there.
Interior is all there, except for the strut tower covers and headliner.
Dash in great condition
Two spare wheels come with it, along with original louvers.
Rear hatch struts work.
Car shows its age with some rust, but no big problems. Battery tray in decent condition with just surface rust.
Odometer says 79,000 miles
