More Details: I hate to sell my Z but I have to buy something newer for work.
The Z is very clean painted orange by previous owner. Car runs really strong with it’s 81k original miles on the l26 engine on the 4-speed transmission. The l26 has the round top SU carbs. Starts up right away cold. I’ve upgraded a lot of things while I drove it. Best of all no smog ever.
New alternator
Voltage regulator
Battery
Deleted vapor canister and hot tanked gas tank with new pipes
Redid exhaust
New electric fuel pump
New weather stripping (no leaks)
New rear main seal and oil pan gasket (not a single drop of oil)
New tires on 280zx wheels
Electrical issues have been worked out with new hazard switch.
Detachable steering wheel with ngr quick release.
New carpet and floor mats
Overall the car is amazing for it’s age. The car is old so it does have some rust, nothing major at all. The car is however missing door panels and bumpers. The headers could be changed as it does rattle a bit with new exhaust piping.
