More Details: Hello CL, I have a 1974 Datsun 260z I recently purchased. Datsun has a 355sbc from a 91 Corvette with around 25k miles on it. Transmission is new with around 1k miles on it. As far as the rest of the components, the rest is stocked. Vehicle needs work. Use to be a manual but was converted to automatic. Clutch pedal still intact.
– Vehicle reads high rpms when in park causing overheating problem
– Carburetor does not sit right causing the idle to be off causing the engine to shut off when at a stand still for long.
-Blinkers are inoperable due to poor wiring
-Speedometer inoperable
-Minor rust spots as shown in pics
-Interior is in great condition with one tear in the center compartment. No crack on dashboard. Custom cd player with stereo in the back.
-Shaved off doors. Killswitch to start vehicle
Can’t really think of anything else I should mention. Drove it for a long 300 mile trip and made it with no issues surprisingly. Title in hand. Needs new plates. Mainly selling because I recently found out about a new assignment of my job that will be withholding me from enjoying the Datsun. Asking for a firm $4k obo. Make some offers. Trades welcome as well.
