More Details: 1974 Datsun 260Z with Ford 302 V8 and T5 5 speed from 1989 Mustang GT.
Set up for street/road racing. Car is lowered, struts shortened 2 inches, with adjustable coil overs all around. Billet bump steer blocks installed to avoid effects on steering on bumps at high speeds.
Running 275/40 17″ tires in rear, and 255/40 17″ in front. The wheels are 17″ Ford cobra R wheels. Brakes are oversize Toyota truck disks with red calipers. R200 differential on billet mount. Custom headers with side pipe exhausts. Electric fan, fuel pump, and water pump.
Interior, dash, and console have been completely stripped out for weight reduction, replaced with custom aluminum dash with white face autoline gauges, custom bucket seats, and bedliner sprayed in. No plastic, padding, or insulation. No heater, air conditioning, or defrost. It does have speakers wired for smart phone or blue tooth connection. Door panels are custom fiberglass painted to match dash and car. There is a custom carbon fiber console for ignition, lights, wipers, audio, and turn signal switches. Every single wire has been replaced. Not 1 inch of original wiring remains in car. Rear tail light assemblies replaced with custom aluminum panel and LED lights. Front spoiler. All side marker lights, emblems, and chrome have been removed. New weather stripping. NO Rust. At 2350 lbs, same power to weight ratio as 1966 289 Cobra.
