More Details: I have a 1974 Datsun 260z that I have owned for the last 6 or 7 years. When I originally bought it my father and I did a lot of work with the intent of driving it but buildup in the fuel system led to bent valves, and while I was away at college the head and valves were redone. Since I moved home I got everything back together, acquired and installed a clean gas tank, and got it running. I have a ton of extra parts that I did not picture for both the interior and exterior, but the buyer is free to take any and all of the Datsun related stuff I have.
This car starts with the key and runs, and I moved it into the street under its own power for photos, but it is not currently streetable. Also, because I do not have a gas cap, I cannot keep gas in it and will not be able to start it for people who come to see. I believe putting gas in which will later dry out is what causes problems like I originally had with gunk in the fuel system, and I do not want to contribute to that becoming an issue for the next owner. I have a video posted with the photos that shows it running strong. With that said I am selling it completely as is.
The car is currently out of the DMV system completely. Not non-opped, not back-regged, they just have no record of it. The lady I bought it from years ago said it had been in her garage for years before that, so I figure it’s just been out of the system for that long. From what I have been told this counts the same as a clean title and would have no problems but I have never got it to the point of registration. It must be picked up on a trailer. If you cannot make that happen I may be able to (for an additional cost, as I’ll have to enlist a friend and most likely get them drunk after)
The interior is pretty complete and in pretty good shape. All carpets and upholstery look fine for the age. I have extras of lots of the interior parts, including an extra dash cover.
Body is largely straight and has no major faults. Paint is not fantastic but I see worse looking Z’s on the street all the time. There are a couple spots I can see some filler on but nothing that jumps out & I never got around to sanding down to see what was up.
My dad was nice enough to go through the electrical while I was away and a surprising amount of it works, including most of the signals and lights.

I had a hard time picking a price since I have not seen many cars in a comparable state or condition to mine but I believe I am fair to start off at $3600 and entertain offers. I see a lot of cars around this price range that might run better, but not many that look better, and I am confident that with a couple hundred bucks and some time this car could really be running beautifully.
I can accept partial trades but I want most of this in cash. Only things I am interested in trading for would be Canon L-Glass (or equivalent if you have something cool in EF mount) or Toyota 4WD gear, namely stuff relating to a solid axle swap. I am also looking for a set of 33×10.5×15″ mud terrain tires.
