More Details: Up for sale is a 1974 Datsun 260z. No rust as its been a California car all it’s life. Not too many of these still out there without rust…esp in NY. I purchased it and had it shipped from San Francisco, CA last year. Everything is documented in a binder from 1974. Car is garaged and has not seen the winter. Reason for sale is b/c I’ve moved to TX and the car is just sitting in my parent’s garage.
58,xxx miles on an RB20DET engine. Inline 6 cylinder turbocharged engine professionally swapped by Innovative Tuning in Buffalo, NY. This is a big upgrade from the stock engine which was also an inline 6 that was 2.6L on carburetors. The RB20DET was used in Nissan Skylines in Japan. My goal was to preserve the beautiful body of the S30, but upgrade to a more modernized engine that could drive right after starting while preserving the Nissan spirit.
Many other parts not in pics will come with the car including the rear fiberglass bumper (unpainted 240Z style).
