More Details: I have a 1974 Datsun 260Z Coupe. 1974 was the only year that the 260 Z was sold in the US. I just got it running and driving not long ago, drove it around the neighborhood, and it did great.
Good:
Tight/Solid Steering
Very Clean
Shifts through all the gears smoothly
Has Vintage Cragar Rims that are in Mint condition
98% rust free Datsun (Now that’s rare!)
Windows work and are crack free
Driver’s Seat has been reupholstered and is flawless
All gauges work
All attached lights work
Straight body
Has had a new clutch kit JUST put in (new clutch, clutch master cylinder, lines, ect.)
I have the shop manual
I have everything that goes to the car.
Bad:
A couple small dings
ONE cancer spot on passenger side below door
Needs battery
Needs taillights put back on
Need to tune the carburetors
Tires have tread and hold air but are dry
Paint is in bad shape
Seats need to be bolted down
Front windshield has one crack in it
