More Details: Hey everybody,
I have a 1974 260z I am considering selling. I hope to sell it to someone who is a Z car lover as I am and will take great care of it. If you love Z’s like I do then you know that the 260z model was only produced for 1 year and is the rarest of the Z family. My Z is in incredible shape, I am from Las Vegas and the car has been a Las Vegas car all of its life, It has absolutely no rust. For those who are looking for a top quality Z you know how hard it is to find one that is not rusted out. I purchased the car from a father an son who had it sitting in a garage for most of its life. They recently had the motor rebuilt.
The car is all original, with its original L26 straight six motor. It has 89,xxx original miles and that was BEFORE the rebuild. I hardly could believe it, being a 41 year old car. I took it to my Z shop down at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway at “High Impact Motor Sports” if you have some free time look them up, they are the best! They specialize in Z’s they confirmed that it was original miles and could hardly believe how nice the compression was. They did all the little work that was needed to get it running at 100%. They Rebuilt the whole dual carburetor system and replaced the U-joint. It was in great shape to begin with so nothing major. The DMV’s records also confirmed the original mileage. The car is incredibly clean, the motor is beautiful and like I said you will find no rust on it. I have never driven it in the winter or in the snow so there has been no salt or whatnot getting in the motorbay and undercarriage of the car. It was been parked in the parking garage. The interior has been re-carpeted and looks great. Dash board has 2 cracks in it but nothing major. Something else that is amazing is the electrical system of the car. Everything works! Every light, switch, and button that can be pressed works. The car was missing a radio when I first got it. I put in a beautiful full color LED Screen radio with all the extras that are modern, its nice I have also added a surround sound system. Something else amazing is that it has its original A/C compressor and it works as well, It blows Ice cold. You will have to wait until the summer to enjoy that feature though. The father and son I bought it from were A/C specialists and converted it to the modern R34 charge. The heater works great as well and will keep you toasty i the winter. Which is needed here in Idaho.
The body is straight, no dents or dings what so ever. The only reason I have the price so low is because it will eventually need a paint job. It is primed, the father and son primed it were going to have it painted however they ran out of money and lost there home and I was able to get the Z from them. They primed it pretty well and I kept it as it was. I know paint jobs are relevantly inexpensive but you do have to go out of your way to get them done, I know because I have had many of my cars painted. So for the hassle I have lowered the price. The breaks are good with a lot of life left on them. I have all new tires as well. It has all 4 original Z hubcaps as well. If you’re a Z guy your freaking out about that. All gauges and meters work perfectly. Drove with out a problem from Vegas to Rexburg. The original 41 year old suspension will eventually need to be replaced. I am trying to think of anything else I could include in here but I think this is everything. I have receipts for the work and a clean title. Also the Z has a 4-speed manual transmission. Clutch is in great condition. Shifts very smoothy. To contact me to come look at and to purchase my Z or to ask me another questions. $8000obo I flexible however I won’t accept any low balls. Throw your offer by me, the worst I can say is no.
Clean title in hand, Cash Only. Please text or call me at [REDACTED] and I will most likely immediately back to you. My name is Wesley and I live in Rexburg Idaho. Thank you for looking.
I will post some pictures of the car, my little brother may be in a few of them, he loves the Z so much!
