1974 Datsun 260z
An actual barn find, two-owner 260Z. I purchased this car from the brother of the original owner in 2017. Last summer I had it mechanically refreshed at Bill’s Datsun Shoppe in Oregon City where the car has been serviced since the 80s. They went through everything in the car including the electrical, cooling, braking and fuel systems replacing or refurbishing anything that needed it.
The only thing that was not repaired was the HVAC system. It is an original AC-equipped car and all components are present but untested and currently non-functional.
The car was repainted in the factory metallic brown sometime in the early 2000s. Has the original slot wheels including 2 spares and a full set of Panasport-style wheels in need of restoration. The battery tray and other normal spots are free of rust as this car has lived in the Portland area its whole life.
Only modifications are period-equipped headers and 240z carbs. Starts and drives great with the 4-speed manual.
