Up for sale is our 1974 Datsun 260Z.

This car was produced in May of 1974 and is an example of the less than 18 month production of 260Z’s. This is the earlier version of the 260 with the more desirable and original style chrome bumpers with the low mounted front turn signals. Also fitted to the front is a period chin spoiler which accompanies the black sports stripe popular in the era. The wheels have been upgraded to 16″ diameter of the “Watanabe” style, also a popular upgrade.

This car runs and drives excellent and the exhaust note is an aggressive bark of the inline six. The carburetors have been rebuilt and upgraded to 240Z non-emission affected specs by Ztherapy of Salem, Oregon which compliments the increased displacement of the 2.6l. We would hop in and drive it anywhere!

Unlike many older Z’s this example still has its original steering wheel and even the radio!
The seat upholstery has also been done and includes the silver circular vents stitched into the face of the seat backs.

The clutch hydraulics and brake hydraulics have been completely redone, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, calipers and hoses. The brake discs, pads and shoes are also fresh. The engine compartment fuel hoses and fuel pump have been replaced. The starter motor and the battery are also new.

This is an opportunity to own a classic that is easy to own, fun to drive, and is already appreciating in value.
